A Place of Healing

Red-Cross101.png
There are some theories that
stonehenge was built as
a place of healing and i have
gathered some of them to give you
evidence that it was and is a place
of healing.

Proffessor Tomothy Darvill has put this theory forward.
Darvill believes that wizards were transporting thes stones
to Salisbury plain
from Western Britain. People believed that the bluestones
had healing properties.
Fresh water springs were found in the same location as
the bluestones and considered sacred.

From the 18th Century people would come to Stonehenge
to break a piece of the roc to keep as a good luck charm.
Further evidence of Stonehenge being a place of healing
is that the remains of the deceased in nearby bye burial
ground had some type of physical disorder which is why
they were coming to Stonehenge to be healed.
